Art 21 - This award winning PBS site uses digital media to provide free materials and programs devoted to the exploration of contemporary art and artists.

Google Cultural Institute - The Cultural Institute includes the Google Art Project, which features high-resolution images of artworks from museums in over 40 countries (request copyright permission from each individual gallery); the World Wonders Project, which presents three-dimensional recreations of world heritage sites; and archival exhibitions, many in partnership with museums around the world.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art  - Established in 1870, "The Met" presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world. The museum is housed in New York city in three sites - The Met Fifth Avenue, The Met Breuer, and The Met Cloisters.

Museum of Modern Art  - Established in 1929, MOMA's collection contains almost 200,000 works of modern and comtemporary art spanning the last 150 years by over 10,000 artists. The website features almost 60,000 works of art from nearly 10,000 artists.
