About the PSAT

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).  The PSAT is a standardized exam targeted at 11th graders that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®.  Students who take the PSAT and score well are eligible for NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. The PSAT is administered mid-October each year.

More information about the PSAT can be found at https://www.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt where you will find tips on preparation, practice tests and more.
