High School & Beyond Plan:

SchooLinks is a college and career planning website with activities and assessments that help students create their post-high school plans. These activities are graduation requirements that fulfill the state mandated High School and Beyond Plan.  Each grade level is assigned several tasks to be completed by the end of the year. Students who do not complete all required tasks of their senior year, and each grade's financial aid tasks will be ineligible to obtain their High School diploma.

Tasks by grade:

Grade 12: 

  • View Internship/Job/Volunteer options on the Opportunity Board
  • Career Exploration activities: confirm at least 2 “favorite careers” in Career Center, confirm a final career goal
  • Finalize and upload a Resume
  • Create SMART GOALS
  • 12th Grade Financial Aid Lesson
  • Financial Aid Advisement Lesson
  • Submit HSBP, which includes: Confirm Met Grad Pathway(s), Finalize Post-Secondary Goal, Senior Year End Activity

Grade 11:

  • View Internship/Job/Volunteer options on the Opportunity Board
  • Career Exploration activities: confirm at least 2 “favorite careers” in Career Center, update a career goal
  • Create SMART GOAL
  • 11th Grade Financial Aid Lesson
  • Financial Aid Advisement Lesson
  • Submit HSBP, which include: Update Intended Grad Pathway, Update Post-Secondary Goal, Build/Update Course Plan for Grade 12

Grade 10:

  • Complete “Top Skills” Assessment
  • Career Exploration Activity which includes: View at least one Career in Career Center, favorite at least 3 careers in Career Center
  • Update Career Goal
  • Update Profile for Resume
  • Create SMART Goal
  • 10th Grade Financial Aid Lesson
  • Submit HSBP, which includes: Update Intended Grad Pathway, Update Post-Secondary Goal, Build/Update Course Plan for 11th Grade

Grade 9:
