This is an amazing school, full of dedicated educators and inspiring students.” Michael Piper received his Bachelor’s degree in education from Southern Nazarene University and his Master’s in educational leadership from Western Washington University. He and his wife, Ashley, live in Brier with their daughter, Ali, and their son, Jackson.

Sara Lowes, Assistant Principal

Before joining Lynnwood High School, Ms. Lowes was Assistant Principal at The Marble Hill High School for International Studies, a small public high school that she helped to found in Bronx, New York. Ms. Lowes earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Baruch College, City University of New York, and her Master of Arts Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Teachers College, Columbia University. She served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, teaching English in Ukraine, 1997-1999, after completing her Bachelor’s Degree at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Ms. Lowes has traveled and chaperoned student exchanges to Africa, Asia and Europe, and hopes to visit Australia next. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her Black Russian Terrier, Sam, and spending time with her family.



CJ Gray, Assistant Principal

CJ Gray was raised in Snohomish, Washington.  She attended Central Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Several years later, she attended Antioch University where she received her Masters Degree.  She has taught school in Mukilteo, Tumwater, and Edmonds School Districts.  She is now in her 10+ years as an administrator.

For fun, she likes to spend time with her family, riding her motorcycle, and taking walks with her dog.
